Apex
produces premium race-ready mini quads for youth riders
that are serious about competing.
Our
models offer the most competitive performance quads in
the mini category.
We
design and manufacture our own ATV’s.
The story of how this all began is a great
example of desire, determination and all American family
values. We think it bears repeating. Growing up, Greg
Beckman's greatest passion was dirt bikes. He thought
his boys might also enjoy the sport, so when his oldest
boy turned four years old, Greg went out and bought two
PW 50s. The boys liked them but the terrain was
difficult for dirt bikes, so Greg purchased Mini-ATVs.
These first two ATVs were overpriced and not exactly
high-tech. After researching the industry and seeing a
niche, Greg began selling Kasea ATVs out of his garage.
The business grew and he opened a store. Within a year
he was Kaseas biggest dealer.
Greg
had some great ideas on how to make the Mini-ATVs
better, but no manufacturer he spoke with was
interested. The manufacturer response was "Why change
it? People are
still buying them." Greg built a lot of custom ATVs for
people around the country. He kept hearing over and over
the complaints and desires of his Mini-ATV customers.
Riding every weekend with his four boys gave him
firsthand experience with the shortcomings of the
Mini-ATV. Greg took things into his own hands and went
to Taiwan.
He
designed his own Mini-ATV, taking it to the next level.
He built a Mini that was stable, dependable, and
affordable. From personal experience he knew what the
customer was looking for in a Mini-ATV, and he designed
his Mini accordingly. The Apex Pro MXR is AMA/ATVA
certified and comes race ready out of the box. Greg
feels he has opened up the ATV race scene to more
families.
Today
the Apex mini race quads are dominant at many race
tracks around the country.
We continue to make innovations and improvements
as we go.
The business has grown and the quads have gained
notoriety as well made race quads.
Through all this Greg’s boys have learned what hard work
is. The boys
spend every vacation and summer working in the warehouse
and learning what it takes to run a business. The
Beckman family loves to race motocross and ride in the
sand dunes. They are a close family and do everything
together. Greg
hopes that this business will help keep his boys on the
right track, and leave behind a legacy proving
innovation and hard work can get you far.
