Variator Roller Weights     5.5 gram  15x12      (can go to lower roller weights if rider is over 100lbs)
Rear Torque Spring     1500rpm    (can go to different spring if rider is over 100 lbs)
Clutch Springs     2000rpm
Pilot Jet     Mid 40’s
Main Jet      120’s
Wheel Bolt Pattern     Front 144         Rear 4 on 110  (same as Honda)
Spark Plug     NGK BP8EG/BPR8EG/BPR8ES/BP8ES 
      Modified or cut head  B8ES/BR8ES/B8EG/BR8EG
      Gap should be 1/22,000 to 1/26,000
       
Cylinder Head Torque Specs      12-15lbs
Stater OHM readings     550 and 900
Belt     Stock 780  recommended 787
Fuel Tank     1.5 Gal (estimated 48 minutes of run time for stock engine)
Transmission Oil     4 oz of 75 weight gear oil
Coolant           Liquid Performance makes coolant just for the mini quad engine.
Shocks     Nitrogen charge 80-180 depending.  180 would be for 90lb + rider
Fuel     Mixed Fuel 40:1.  Goal is 95 octane.  DO NOT GO BELOW 92 Octane
Chain Oil     Maxima recommended – Do not get chain oil on clutch pads

       

   

Maintenance

Before Each Race / Practice

Check thoroughly for loose or broken parts

Clean the Carburetor

Clean the Air filter

Check Throttle Cable for proper performance

Check Kill Tether for proper performance

Clean and Inspect the Slipper Sprocket (see detailed instructions)

Clean and Inspect chain roller and chain

Check tire pressure (front should be 8lbs. rear should be 4lbs.)

Be sure the quad is jetted properly  (see instructions on carburetion and jetting)

Check for appropriate clutch set up – can vary track to track (see instructions on clutch set up)

     
   

Interval Maintenance

Replace the clutch and rollers at least every 8 hours for optimal performance

Replace crank seals and bearings every 8 hours for optimal performance

Check and replace belt as needed. Do not send quad with brand new belt to the starting line. (Run the quad with the new belt a bit before you go to the line.)

Check Compression and replace piston and rings every 8-10 hours.  (top end kit)
